Genesi Gonzalez

Genesi has spent more than 20 years leading care and managing risk. She has served as an emergency department director, an ambulatory surgery administrator, a quality leader and a regional risk manager overseeing multiple surgery centers.
In those roles she investigated adverse events, wrote root cause analyses, prepared facilities for state and accreditation surveys, and reported to Boards and physician owners on what was working and what wasn't.
She founded Cornerstone to give outpatient leaders what she wished she'd had: practical, senior‑level risk expertise and a system that keeps the program running between surveys. Her clinical and legal nurse training also lets her help law firms and carriers understand exactly what happened in a patient's care.
